The operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters, including two females, in Abuja and Nasarawa State.
The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested at Mpape in Abuja and Keffi, Nasarawa State, on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
The EFCC, in a statement on Sunday, February 18, said the suspects, comprising 38 males and two females, were arrested following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

The anti-graft agency listed the items recovered from the suspects to include two cars, 56 phones, four smartwatches, eight power banks, and four laptops.
It added that the suspected internet fraudsters would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
