2023: Adamu Garba picks YPP presidential forms

A presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has obtained the expression of interest and nomination forms of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to contest the 2023 presidential election.

Garba picked the forms at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday.

The presidential hopeful, who took to his verified Twitter handle to announce the purchase of the forms, urged youths in the country to join YPP and contest for elective positions ahead of the 2023 general election.

He tweeted: “Gentleladies and men, I got the form.

“It is a group commitment. The Youth are coming together to demonstrate their capacity to rebuild Nigeria and chart a better path way forward for the future. Don’t he left behind.

“Buy your form, contest under the YPP and join us to build the future together. We are on track!”

Garba will contest against another aspirant, Malik Ado-Ibrahim, for the party’s presidential ticket.

He dumped the All Progressives Congress last week after he lashed out at the APC over the N100 million fixed for party’s presidential nomination forms.

Garba said although he got N83 million in donations, he would not purchase the APC presidential nomination forms.

The presidential aspirant added that were issues on the APC presidential primary election, which he didn’t agree with.
