Associates of the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, on Friday, obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the CBN Governor to contest the 2023 presidential election.
The APC presidential forms were picked on behalf of the CBN Governor at about 11 am.
Emefiele joined a long list of other presidential aspirants who have obtained the APC nomination forms.
Some of the presidential aspirants, who have declared their ambitions to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers Sen. Chris Ngige (Labour and Employment), Godswill Akpabio (Niger Delta Affairs), Rotimi Amaechi (Transportation), Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba (State for Education); and former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
Others are former Senate President, Ken Nnamani; Governors Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Ben Ayade (Cross River), and David Umahi (Ebonyi).
Others include former Governors Bola Tinubu (Lagos), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Sen. Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Sen. Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Sen. Orji Kalu (Abia); United States-based Nigerian pastor, Nicholas Nwagbo; and Lagos pastor, Tunde Bakare.
