2023: Tinubu submits APC presidential forms

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, has submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the APC to contest the presidential primary of the ruling party.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, submitted the nomination forms at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the forms were submitted on behalf of Tinubu by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, amongst others.

It was, however, learnt that the APC chieftain secured 370 delegates from across the country to complete the submission of his presidential forms.

The APC presidential aspirant had on Sunday, after an interaction with delegates in Jalingo, Taraba State, said his chances of winning the presidential ticket of APC were on a very high side due to his political pedigree.

Tinubu, who expressed confidence at winning the presidential ticket of the ruling party, said: “My chances of winning the ticket are incredibly high and I am very confident. I am sure I can and I will win it.”
