A 69-year-old man, Mr. Babatunde Michael Fabiyi, was one of the candidates that sat for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Despite his age, Fabiyi wants to study Medicine and Surgery.
The candidate picked the University of Lagos as his first choice to study Medicine. Fabiyi also opted for Lagos State University (LASU) as his second choice to study Medicine.
Yaba College of Technology, Lagos was his third choice to study Science Laboratory Technology.
The sexagenarian, who hailed from Egbado-North, Ogun State, sat the UTME at Centre 457, Nubi Private School, Okota, Lagos State.

In a JAMB news bulleting made available to The Star on Monday, May 7, the centre’s examination officials, in their various submissions, indicated that Fabiyi was a model candidate as he not only came to the centre early enough, but also followed all the instructions given to him diligently.
