2027: ADC affirms Malami, others as Kebbi candidates

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State has announced the emergence of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), as its governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The announcement, contained in a statement issued by Malami’s Special Assistant on Media, Mohammed Bello Doka, also named other candidates for key legislative positions across the state.

According to the statement, Major General Aminu Bande (Rtd) has been affirmed as the party’s senatorial candidate for Kebbi Central, while Deputy Comptroller General Ibrahim Muhammad Mera (Rtd) will contest for Kebbi North.

For Kebbi South, Garba Danjuma Limi was named as the ADC’s senatorial candidate.

The statement expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders and supporters for their confidence and backing ahead of the 2027 elections, noting that consultations and engagements are ongoing to strengthen the party’s position in the state.

It added that the party remains committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, security, justice and sustainable development for Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.

The ADC also called for unity and collective effort among its members and supporters, expressing optimism about building a more prosperous future for the state.
