The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it is engaging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to resolve the omission of some of its candidates from the final list of contestants in the 2027 general election.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed, said this in a statement issued on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Mohammed said the party had noted with concern the omission of some of its candidates from the final list released by INEC on Saturday.
Mohammed assured all affected candidates, PDP members, and supporters that the party was engaging with the commission to address the issues responsible for the omissions.
He said the engagement was aimed at securing an amicable resolution in accordance with the law and established electoral guidelines.
