The operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly defiling a nine-month-old baby in the Ijora Badia area of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made the disclosure in Lagos on Wednesday.
Hundeyin said the case was reported to the police on Monday, March 27 at about 10:00 p.m. by a resident of the area.
He revealed that the suspect went to the apartment where the baby’s mother laid her on the floor, and quickly went to buy something outside the compound.
