The marriage between Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, has come under renewed scrutiny following a reported altercation involving the couple outside a nightclub in Abuja.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday during the opening of 90s Lounge and has since generated reactions online, with videos said to have captured moments involving the couple circulating across social media platforms.
However, the circumstances that led to the reported confrontation remain unclear, and the videos circulating online do not independently establish what transpired before the incident.
Some accounts on social media alleged that Natasha arrived at the venue before 2Baba and later approached his vehicle when he arrived, reportedly seeking an opportunity to speak with him.
An eyewitness who claimed to have been present at the scene also alleged that the couple eventually went into the nightclub together after the incident outside the venue.
The eyewitness said, “Allegedly, 2Face and his latest wife, Natasha, haven’t been on good terms for months, and she hasn’t even been able to see him. She reportedly heard that the owner of Trukadero was opening a club called 90’s yesterday, so she went there and waited for 2Face.”
The eyewitness further claimed that Natasha approached the singer’s vehicle when he arrived and demanded to speak with him before they eventually entered the venue.
Other claims circulating online suggested that the couple had been experiencing difficulties in their relationship and had not seen each other for some time. There were also unverified claims that 2Baba had expressed reservations about continuing the relationship.
However, those claims could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.
The reported incident comes amid continued public interest in the couple’s marriage, which began in July 2025 and has remained a subject of considerable attention.
