Saliu said the suspects were arrested through a well coordinated operation at Otokiti Estate in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, on March 25.

Saliu said two of the suspects, allegedly posing as construction workers, lured the victim to a secluded area, killed him with a shovel, and stole his tricycle.

The police spokesperson revealed that the victim’s family had reported him missing on March 18, after he left home on his tricycle, only to later find his lifeless body around CBN zone 8 in Lokoja on March 19.
