3 rescued as another building collapses in Lagos

Three persons have been rescued from a two-storey building that collapsed in the Mushin area of Lagos State.

The building collapsed on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

The Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos Territorial Office, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident.

Tinubu, Peter Obi, Fayemi meet in Rome

Farinloye said the two-storey building under construction collapsed at about 3:50 p.m. on Sunday.

Farinloye disclosed that the three rescued were taken to hospital for treatment.

He added that search and rescue operations were ongoing.
