A fatal accident on Thursday evening claimed 30 passengers and while 12 others were injured on Kano-Zaria highway.
A fully loaded 18-seater Hummer bus collided with a Volkswagen saloon in Tashar Musa town in Makarfi LGA of Kaduna State.
Head of Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) in Zaria, Abdurrahman Yakasai, confirmed the accident, stating that their immediate findings suggested that the vehicles were on high speed with each driver trying to overtake another.
