The Anambra State Government has discovered no fewer than 35 graves in Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites used for kidnapping and sundry crimes at Oba in the Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.

The deputy governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, disclosed this on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Ibezim said the discovery of the graves, a shrine, and live bullets, among others, led to the demolition of the hotel.

The demolition was carried out in collaboration with the Homeland Security Law.
