The University of Ibadan (UI) in Oyo State will confer first class degrees on 448 graduands during the institution’s convocation.
The UI Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, disclosed this at the first day of the convocation ceremony meant for Arts, Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Public Health, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Adebowale said 448 of the 5,900 graduating students of the 2024/2025 academic session obtained first class degrees across various fields.
Adebowale congratulated the graduands, describing their success as a reflection of discipline, hard work and perseverance.
