A total of 550 pilgrims from Kano State have departed Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after successfully performing the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
The pilgrims, drawn from nine Local Government Areas, left King Abdulaziz International Airport on Sunday aboard a Max Air flight bound for Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.
Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Lamin Danbappa, confirmed the development, expressing satisfaction with the ongoing return process. He noted that all the pilgrims were in good health and that the exercise had been smooth so far.
Danbappa also offered prayers for continued peace, unity, and stability in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
