The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Ekiti State.
Tinubu won in all 16 Local Government Areas of Ekiti State to defeat his closest rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
According to the results announced at the Ekiti State Collation Centre on Sunday, Tinubu polled 201,486 votes, while Atiku and Obi garnered 89,554 and 11,397 votes, respectively.

This is the first result to be officially announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
