Some assailants have attacked the residence of popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, in Lagos State.
There were reports that the assailants tried to kidnap Tiwa Savage during the attack which occurred on Thursday, April 13.
However, the famous singer, in a statement issued on Friday, April 14, by her management, said she escaped from a security breach at her residence.

She stated that suspects were arrested and are currently detained at Alagbon Police Station in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The statement shared on the singer’s Instagram page read: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.
“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.
“Ms Savage and her family are safe and well.”
