The stage for the swearing-in of Kano State Governor-elect, Abba Yusuf, collapsed at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Monday, May 29, 2023.

It was gathered that Yusuf and the acting Chief Judge of Kano State, among others were on the podium well it collapsed.
