President Bola Tinubu will address Nigerians via a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Saturday, August 3.
Ngelale noted that Tinubu will address Nigerians at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The presidential spokesman added: “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.

“The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.”
There have been calls on President Tinubu to address Nigerians over the ongoing nationwide protest against economic hardship.
The protest which commenced on August 1 is expected to end on August 10.
