Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has sacked the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Muhammad Ubandona-Aliyu, and all commissioners in his cabinet.
The Permanent Secretary of Cabinet Affairs and Special Duties, Office of the SSG, Mohammed Illiyasu-Idde, made this known in a statement on Friday, January 3, 2025.
Illiyasu-Idde stated that the dissolution was with immediate effect.

He noted: “By this development, all outgoing commissioners are to hand over the affairs of their ministries and all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministries.
“The Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State is to hand over to the Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and Special Services.”
Illiyasu-Idde quoted the governor as expressing gratitude to all the outgoing appointees for their services to Nasarawa State and wishing them well in their future endeavours.
