The Federal Government has praised Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, for establishing a dedicated Ministry of Youth Development, describing it as a bold and visionary move to empower young people in the state.
The commendation came from the Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, in a statement issued on Wednesday.
The minister, who had previously urged the creation of a youth-focused ministry during a visit to the governor, lauded Sani for swiftly fulfilling that commitment.
According to Olawande, the creation of the ministry reflects the governor’s strong dedication to harnessing the potential of Kaduna’s large youth population and ensuring that their development is prioritized.
“This move shows a deep commitment to the future. It provides a solid platform for planning, implementing, and tracking youth-focused initiatives,” Olawande stated.
He added that Governor Uba Sani’s strategic foresight and responsiveness highlight his understanding of the critical role youth play in shaping the future of any society.
