The House of Representatives has congratulated OrderPaper Nigeria, a leading independent parliamentary monitoring organisation, on its recent brand evolution, lauding the group’s decade-long efforts in promoting legislative transparency, civic engagement, and good governance.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the House described OrderPaper’s rebranding as a bold step toward deepening democratic accountability and strengthening public trust in the legislative process.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD, GCON, praised the organisation’s contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development, saying:
“We welcome and applaud the brand evolution of OrderPaper Nigeria as a forward-thinking institution contributing to the growth of our democracy.
“The 10th House values principled civic engagement and affirms its commitment to transparency, inclusion, and excellence in lawmaking.”
The Speaker noted that OrderPaper has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the legislature and the public through its data-driven reporting and legislative analysis.
The House also acknowledged the launch of ParliamentReports.com, OrderPaper’s revamped media platform offering in-depth legislative intelligence and coverage of both national and state assemblies.
Additionally, the House commended OrderPaper’s signature initiatives such as Scorecard Nigeria and the Most Valuable Parliamentarian (MVP) Hall of Fame, which have set new benchmarks for evaluating and celebrating parliamentary performance.
Reiterating its commitment to legislative excellence and open governance, the House—through its Committee on Media and Public Affairs—expressed readiness to collaborate with OrderPaper and similar civic organisations to promote responsible lawmaking, informed policymaking, and active citizen participation.
