Residents of Kaduna State have lauded Governor Uba Sani for the successful completion of key road projects, particularly in Unguwan Sarki, which had been neglected by previous administrations.
The newly commissioned road, which serves as a major artery through the community, has significantly improved living conditions and revived economic activities.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, the Sarkin Unguwan Sarki, Ibrahim Isa, praised the Governor for transforming the community.
He explained that the road had been abandoned after preliminary work, leaving the area dusty and largely avoided.

Isa noted that the road leads to the Kaduna residence of the Sultan of Sokoto, highlighting its strategic importance.
“Unguwan Sarki has returned to its vibrant self. Businesses are thriving once again,” he said.
Youth leader, Aliyu Faruk, also commended the Governor but appealed for the restoration of pipe-borne water in the area.
He said water pipelines were damaged during the Urban Renewal Programme.
In response, Uba Sani revealed that the state government had invested over ₦100 billion in the past six months to address water scarcity across Kaduna.
He added that over ₦400 million has already been spent on repairing and replacing damaged pipelines, assuring residents that uninterrupted water supply will be achieved by the end of the year.
At the commissioning of another major road linking Federal Government College, Malali, through FRCN Quarters to Unguwan Dosa, the Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, Muhammad Gambo, expressed appreciation for the Governor’s commitment to development.
In a show of gratitude, the road was officially named after the Governor.
Similarly, the Chairman of Igabi Local Government, Sani Abdul Zangon Aya, praised the construction of the Rafin Guza-Malalin Gabas road, which has drastically reduced travel time to Kawo from two hours to a few minutes.
He described the people of Igabi as strong supporters of the Governor, noting that one of the newly established Science Secondary Schools is located in the area.
Alhaji Zangon Aya also highlighted the establishment of a Vocational and Skills Acquisition Centre at Rigachukun, which will benefit both Kaduna residents and Nigerians from other states.
He pledged that Igabi will deliver even more votes for Sani in the 2027 elections, having already given him the highest number of votes in 2023.
