A lady has been confirmed dead after she slumped in a popular hotel in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
The Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Abutu disclosed that the deceased was a worker in the hotel.

Abutu said the lady was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
He noted that an investigation was ongoing, saying some of the staff had been invited for questioning to ascertain the cause of her death.
The police spokesman added that an autopsy would also be carried out to assist the command’s investigation.
