The resignation was confirmed in a statement issued on Saturday in Sokoto. Dingyadi, who served as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the PDP National Chairman, had been a consistent and credible voice on party-related matters for over three years.
In a letter dated June 25, 2025, and addressed to the Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Iliya Damagum, Dingyadi expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve the party.
“While I appreciate the support and prayers of the PDP family during my stay in this office, I remain appreciative of all the contributions given to me to ensure the success of my assignment,” he stated.
Although he did not disclose the reason for his resignation, Dingyadi has been widely respected for his efforts in promoting party unity and addressing internal challenges. He was a regular presence in radio, television, and print media, where he articulated the PDP’s policies and political agenda.
