The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership caucus in Osun State has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Osun PDP caucus, in a meeting held today at the Government House in Osogbo on Saturday, July 12, 2025, said it has unanimously supported any decision Adeleke takes on the growing rumour of defection to another political party.
The Osun PDP leaders who commended the governor’s leadership and performance in office mandated him to continue consultations with all stakeholders locally and nationally.
Senator Ireti Kingibe dumps Labour Party for ADC
The party’s leaders, in a communique issued after the meeting, said they will “follow Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke wherever he goes.”
The leaders added that the governor is still consulting on next lines of action.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi; Deputy Senate Minority leader, Senator Lere Oyewumi; and Osun PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi; among others.
