Unreleased music and confidential materials belonging to global superstar Beyoncé have been stolen in Atlanta, United States, in a theft incident involving her choreographer, Christopher Grant.
According to a police report, multiple hard drives containing unreleased songs, exclusive show footage, and detailed set lists from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter world tour were taken from a rental vehicle used by Grant.
The theft occurred on July 8, just days before Beyoncé began the Atlanta leg of her tour.
Grant reported that he returned to the parked vehicle to find its rear window shattered and his luggage, including Apple MacBooks, headphones, luxury fashion items, and the crucial hard drives, missing.
“The drives contained watermarked music, unreleased tracks, plans for upcoming shows, and both past and future set lists,” Grant stated in the report.
Atlanta police have confirmed a suspect has been identified and a warrant issued, though the individual has yet to be apprehended.
Beyoncé is currently headlining the Cowboy Carter Tour, named after her 2025 Grammy-winning album. The tour kicked off on April 28 and is set to wrap up on July 26.
