Veteran Nollywood actress, Peju Ogunmola Omobolanle, has lost her only son, Shina.
It was gathered that Ogunmola’s son died while the 56-year-old Yoruba actress was on a movie set on Monday, September 1, 2025.
Shina was the only child between Ogunmola and her husband, renowned comic actor, Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe.

The heartbreaking news was first shared by actor, Odunlade Adekola, whose post triggered an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans.

Many have since flooded the Ogunmola’s social media pages with prayers and tributes, leaving the Nollywood community in mourning.
