Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested three suspected logistics suppliers of Boko Haram terrorists during a special operation in Borno State.
Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation, codenamed “Strangulation,” was launched following credible intelligence on the movement of terrorist supply networks in the Dowoshi and Alagarno areas.
During the operation, troops raided a suspected hideout in Dowoshi, where two suspects were arrested with five bags of snacks, small chops, and other food items reportedly meant for delivery to Boko Haram logistics handlers.
According to the sources, the suspects had been under surveillance for some time before their arrest.
Their confession later led to the capture of the main logistics supplier at about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in Alagarno, where troops recovered two additional bags of food items.
The suspects and the seized items are currently in military custody for further investigation.
