The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

This was contained in a public announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) A. M. Jibril, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja.

According to the statement, applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise are advised to visit the Board’s official portal — recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to check their names and details for the next phase of the exercise.

Maj.-Gen. Jibril noted that shortlisted candidates are required to confirm their Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, dates, and times as displayed on the portal.

He cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters or visiting fake websites impersonating the Board, stressing that the official portal remains the only authentic platform for recruitment information.

“All applicants are strongly advised to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,”
Jibril warned.

He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to a transparent, merit-based recruitment process aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies with qualified and dedicated personnel.
