Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been re-elected for second term in office.
Soludo was declared winner of the gubernatorial election held across the state on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The governor, a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, defeated the other challengers in the race in all 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra State.

Announcing the final result at the collation centre in Awka, the capital of Anambra State, on Sunday, the returning officer, Edoma Omoregie, said the governor polled 422,664 votes while Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) trailed him in second place, earning 99,445 votes.
