An audio conversation between controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, and social media personality Saida Boj has surfaced online, generating widespread reactions.
The audio, shared by Instagram blog @wahalanonetwork, captured the moment Saida Boj reached out to Portable to inquire about the cost of featuring him on a song.
According to the recording, Portable demanded a ₦10 million fee for the collaboration. Saida Boj, who explained that the feature was for her forthcoming EP, expressed shock at the amount, noting that she could not afford such a high charge.
“This one no be for social media chasing. Na serious matter. This is my song. I’m doing an EP and I need you on it,” she said in the audio.
Portable later reduced his asking price to ₦8 million, insisting that his verse would be a major boost to her career.
“My verse can change your life. I’m a big man. You are talking to a star. Before you go far, you will like to feature with someone who has a future,” he said.
In response, Saida Boj, known for her quick-witted comebacks, pushed back, saying, “Guy, everybody get future. You big for music.”
The exchange has since sparked conversations online, with many social media users weighing in on the rapper’s pricing and Saida Boj’s response.
