The Federal Government has reopened 47 Unity Colleges that were earlier shut due to security challenges across Nigeria.
The Ministry of Education announced the development via a statement issued by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Boriowo Folasade, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Folasade noted that the decision followed the reinforcement of security arrangements in and around the affected schools.
Folasade disclosed that students have since returned to their campuses and normal academic activities have resumed.
