President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered Nigeria’s security agencies to track down and arrest the terrorists behind the recent attack on Kasuwan Daji community in Niger State.
In a statement from the State House, the President directed the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services to ensure the attackers are identified, arrested, and brought to justice.
He also instructed security agencies to urgently rescue all abducted victims.
The President condemned the killings and abductions, describing the incident as an affront to Nigeria and its people.
He extended condolences to the families of the victims, as well as the government and residents of Niger State.
“These terrorists have tested the resolve of our country and its people,” President Tinubu said, warning that anyone involved — including those who support or enable the attackers — would be prosecuted.
He further disclosed that security operations would be intensified around vulnerable communities, especially those close to forests that have served as hideouts for criminals.
Calling for unity and restraint, President Tinubu urged Nigerians to avoid divisive comments and stand together in confronting insecurity.
He expressed confidence that coordinated efforts would help restore peace and stability to affected areas.
