The City Boy Movement has begun distributing fasting relief packages across Nigeria’s 36 states to support citizens observing the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent.

The outreach is an initiative of the movement’s Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, aimed at assisting Muslim and Christian faithful during periods of reflection and devotion.

In a statement issued on Monday in Lagos, the Director-General of the movement, Oluwatosin Shoga, said the programme was designed to promote unity and national cohesion while providing practical support to communities.

He described the initiative as “unity in action and leadership rooted in service,” noting that Ramadan and Lent highlight shared values such as sacrifice, generosity and compassion.

According to Shoga, the relief packages are being distributed through coordinated state chapters to ensure wide coverage and effective grassroots engagement. He added that the outreach targets both urban and rural communities nationwide.

The director-general said the programme reinforces civic responsibility, collective progress and youth participation in community development.

He added that the initiative reflects the movement’s continued advocacy for youth engagement and community-driven interventions, stressing its commitment to expanding hope and opportunity through purposeful civic action across Nigeria.
