President Bola Tinubu has praised his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman, describing him as a loyal, dedicated and exemplary professional as he marks his 60th birthday.
In a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday, Tinubu commended Rahman for his unwavering commitment to duty throughout their long working relationship both before and during his presidency.
The President said Rahman demonstrated “strong leadership and extraordinary work ethic” during his time as his Adviser on Media, particularly in the period leading up to the 2023 presidential election, when he played a key role as a political liaison and media strategist.
Tinubu described the celebrant as a conscientious journalist and editor who used his craft to advance public good and social justice.
“I especially celebrate Tunde Rahman for his outstanding qualities on the celebration of his 60th birthday. He is a dedicated, humble and extraordinarily loyal personal aide who serves with utmost dedication,” the President said.
He added that Rahman’s contributions to progressive ideals and good governance were invaluable, noting that his counsel had always been sincere “and free of any hidden agenda.”
Tinubu prayed for continued good health and greater wisdom for Rahman “for greater service to our country and humanity.”
