The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has criticised Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni for sharing an altered image of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) logo redesigned to resemble that of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reacting to the post, Onanuga accused Oseni of acting like a political operative and displaying open bias.

“Irresponsible post! The handiwork of a political hack. You are just revealing your political bias and partisanship by posting this nonsense,” Onanuga wrote on X on Thursday, April 8, 2026.
The presidential spokesman further stated that such conduct would not be tolerated in his organisation, adding that it would attract immediate disciplinary action.

Onanuga said: “If you work in my organisation, this post will result in your instant dismissal.
“I hope the Great Duke will call you to order, as you are doing more harm than good to his Arise TV.”
