Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.
The affirmation exercise was conducted across all 255 wards in the state’s 23 local government areas, with party members and stakeholders turning out in large numbers to support the president’s re-election bid.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission monitored the process alongside party representatives to ensure compliance with electoral guidelines.
The endorsement drew participation from across the Southern, Central and Northern senatorial districts, reflecting broad-based support within the party in the state.
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, who monitored parts of the exercise, described the process as a demonstration of unity and confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.
He commended party members for the orderly conduct and high turnout, noting that the exercise underscored the APC’s readiness ahead of the next general elections.
According to him, the endorsement reflects growing internal cohesion and commitment to sustaining the party’s leadership at the national level.
He urged members to remain united and strengthen grassroots mobilisation as preparations intensify for 2027.
The exercise was concluded peacefully, while collation of results is ongoing across the state. The final outcome is expected to be presented by Governor Sani to the APC Presidential Primary Committee in Abuja.
