The naira closed the week with a marginal depreciation at the official foreign exchange market on Friday, June 26, 2026, trading at N1,380.93 to the United States dollar.
Data published on the official website of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira lost 82 kobo.
This represented a 0.05 per cent decline when compared with Thursday’s rate of N1,380.10.

The local currency, however, opened the week on a positive note, trading at N1,369.10 on Monday, June 22.

It later depreciated to N1,370.63 on Tuesday and further weakened to N1,380.07 on Wednesday.
