An Abuja High Court has ordered the final forfeiture of billions of naira worth of assets linked to businesswoman Aisha Achimugu to the Federal Government.
Justice Jude Onwugbuzie, sitting in Apo, delivered the ruling on Thursday, granting an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission seeking the permanent forfeiture of the assets.
The forfeited assets include jewellery valued at N4.645 billion, 11 luxury vehicles worth N4.293 billion, $50,000 cash, and N30 million in cash.
The court held that the assets should be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government following the EFCC’s application.
The properties, comprising high-value personal effects, luxury vehicles and cash holdings linked to Achimugu, had earlier been subjected to forfeiture proceedings by the anti-graft agency.

Details of the judgment were contained in the ruling delivered by Justice Onwugbuzie on Thursday.
