Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has renewed his criticism of Dapper Music amid an ongoing dispute involving allegations of missing funds reportedly exceeding N1 billion.
The singer took to X with a series of cryptic posts directed at his former label and individuals associated with it, appearing to suggest that he left the arrangement before the situation deteriorated further.
In one of the posts, Seyi Vibez wrote, “Thank GOD say na me first Japa. The rest na mumu.”
He also alleged that spiritual manipulation was being used against some individuals involved in the dispute, writing, “Dem dey use jazz,” while suggesting that such attempts had no effect on him.
In another post, the singer dragged celebrity chef Hilda Baci into the controversy, alleging that Dapper Music provided him with food from the chef and jokingly suggesting that the experience almost cost him his life.
He later escalated his criticism with another post, alleging that money from the catalogue of artists associated with the label was being spent on Hilda Baci’s cosmetic surgery.
The posts come amid an escalating dispute surrounding alleged financial irregularities involving Dapper Music, with claims of more than N1 billion reportedly at the centre of the controversy.
However, the allegations contained in Seyi Vibez’s social media posts have not been independently verified, while details of the financial dispute and the position of the parties involved remain subject to clarification.
