Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to deliver the 7th annual lecture of Freedom Online newspaper on Thursday in Ikeja, Lagos.
The lecture, which will bring together political leaders, media professionals and other stakeholders, will focus on “2027 Elections, Economy, Security and Nigeria’s Future.”
Former Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, will chair the event, while former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.
The President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and Editor of Vanguard, Eze Anaba, is expected to be the Chief Host.
The Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Online, Gabriel Akinadewo, disclosed this in a statement announcing the event.
Akinadewo said other prominent Nigerians would also attend the lecture, describing it as an opportunity for stakeholders to examine issues that will shape Nigeria’s political, economic and security landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event is expected to provide a platform for discussions on the country’s democratic future, economic challenges, security situation and the implications of the 2027 elections.
