Abaji monarch hails Tinubu, Wike’s developmental strides in FCT

The Ona of Abaji and Chairperson of FCT Royal Chiefs, Dr. Baba Yunusa Ugbada, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the developmental progress recorded in the Federal Capital Territory under the leadership of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. He described Wike as a true ambassador of the President, committed to transforming the territory.

The monarch spoke on Thursday when Hon. Adamu Abdullahi led members of the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors on a courtesy visit.

The ambassadors said their tour was aimed at strengthening ties with traditional rulers, seeking their support for President Tinubu’s administration, and receiving blessings and guidance as they carry out their mandate.

Dr. Ugbada commended the Minister’s efforts, especially in developing the satellite towns, and urged the government to intensify infrastructure development and invest more in the education sector for the benefit of rural communities.

The ambassadors also visited chiefdoms in Gwargwada, Rubochi, Yaba, Wako, Pai, and Zuba.

In Pai, Kwali Area Council, the Chief of Pai, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Pai, lauded the administration for improving road networks, saying it has eased the movement of farmers bringing produce into the capital city.

Similarly, the Agora of Zuba, Engr. Muhammad Bello Umar, expressed confidence in the ambassadors’ mission and pledged the continued support of his chiefdom for peace, progress, and unity in the FCT.

Addressing the traditional rulers, Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, the FCT Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, assured that all their concerns and recommendations would be documented and conveyed to President Tinubu, whom he described as a leader committed to listening to the people.
