Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has been re-elected for another four-year term.
AbdulRazaq was declared the winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
The governor, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled 273,424 votes to defeat his rivals Abdullah Yahman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 155,490 votes, and Hakeem Lawal of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) who garnered 18,922 votes.
