The Zamfara State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on Governor Dauda Lawal and other credible politicians to join the party in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists in Gusau on Friday, the state ADC chairman, Kabiru Garba, revealed that the party had welcomed over 100 new members from various political parties in the last ten days, describing the wave of defections as a major boost.
“We have received more than 100 defectors from different political backgrounds in just ten days.
“This reflects growing confidence in our party,” Garba stated.
He expressed optimism that more politicians from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would soon align with the ADC, stressing that the party prioritizes integrity and commitment to good governance.
“We are inviting credible leaders who have a track record of integrity to join us.
“What we value most is political credibility,” he added.
Garba affirmed the party’s readiness to contest and win in 2027, stating that the ADC’s structure and manifesto are designed to meet the developmental needs of both Zamfara State and Nigeria.
“We are fully prepared to lead ADC to victory in the next elections. Our manifesto focuses on real progress and development,” he said.
He concluded by extending an open invitation to Governor Lawal, emphasizing that the ADC remains a welcoming platform for leaders committed to positive change.
