Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has included two commissioners who served during the tenure of the former governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola, alongside 23 others in his commissioner nominees list forwarded to the Osun State House of Assembly.
This was disclosed by the Speaker of the Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, while reading out the names in the letter sent to the lawmakers by Adeleke at the plenary in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Friday, July 7, 2023.
The two members of Aregbesola’s cabinet that made the list are Kolapo Alimi, who served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; and Biyi Odunlade, who was the Commissioner for Sports.

Other commissioner nominees are Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogungbangbe, Sesan Epharaim Oyedele, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood Olagunju, George Alabi, Sunday Oroniyi, Abiodun Ojo, Basiru Salami, Morufu Ayofe, Sola Ogungbile, and Bunmi Jenyo.
Others include Ayo Awolowo, Wole Jimi Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Rasheed Aderibigbe, Morufu Adeleke, Adeyemo Ademola, Olabiyi Odunlade, Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Folashade Adeleke, Tola Faseru, and Ganiyu Olaoluwa.
