In a major boost for Kano Pillars Football Club, newly appointed manager and former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has secured a N100 million sponsorship deal with the Hausa Service of Radio France International (RFI).
The groundbreaking partnership was officially sealed during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
According to RFI’s Chief Coordinator, Joe Penney, the sponsorship package includes team kits, training support, and advanced media equipment aimed at enhancing the club’s communication, branding, and digital presence.
“With Ahmed Musa’s visionary leadership, we are confident this partnership will elevate Kano Pillars to greater heights,” Penney said.
He added that RFI will also provide ongoing digital media training and support to the team.
Speaking at the event, Musa described the sponsorship as a powerful step toward revitalizing the club.
“This is just the beginning of the season, and it’s a big start. It gives us hope for a strong finish,” he said.
The ceremony also featured the official unveiling of Kano Pillars’ new jersey, now branded with the RFI logo, signaling the start of a new era for the club under Musa’s leadership.
