APC extends sale of nomination forms to May 10

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the party’s sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to aspirants seeking elective positions in the 2023 general election to May 10, 2022.

This was contained in a statement issued and made available to The Star by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, on Wednesday.

Felix noted that the APC has also approved May 11 as the last day for the submission of the ruling party’s nomination forms.

He added that the congresses scheduled to elect the local government, state, and national delegates would hold from May 12 to May 14, 2022.

The statement read: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) on Wednesday extended the party’s sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2023 general election to Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

“In a revised timetable issued by the APC National Organising Secretary, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents is now set for Wednesday, 11th May 2022.

“Also, congresses to elect Local Government Area (LGA), State and National Delegates will now be held from Thursday, 12th May to Saturday, 14th May 2022,” the APC spokesperson stated.
