The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr. Fidelix Bagudu, has won the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency by-election held on Saturday in Kaduna State.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Abubakar Jumare, announced the results on Sunday at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Kaduna.
Bagudu polled 34,580 votes to defeat his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 11,491 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate secured 3,477 votes.
With a margin of 23,089 votes, INEC declared Bagudu duly elected as the winner of the by-election.
