Apostle Suleman: Some people trying to kill me since 2017

The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has alleged that some people were making an attempt to kill him.

Suleman said he has been going through some tough times since 2017, stressing that he cannot be killed.

The cleric said this in reaction to the attack on his convoy on Friday.

The Star had reported that Apostle Suleman’s convoy was attacked along the Benin Auchi Road, Edo State.

It was gathered that the gunmen killed seven persons including three of the cleric’s police orderlies in the attack.

Speaking on the incident, Suleman said: “Since 2017, there are certain things happening that I have been quiet about. Even if you are the most careless person on earth, you will not give yourself to so many scandals.

“There are things happening that people don’t know, even though one or two people along the line took advantage of that, they just come out and say one or two things.

“The reason I’m coming out to speak now is because they have done all that and discovered that I’m still moving on.

“They decided to make an attempt on my life. I just escaped an assassination attempt where seven people were killed. My car was attacked, they kept spraying bullets on my car, my wife and kids were there. They killed policemen and others. Seven people were killed.

“The people who did this are expecting me to come out and mention their names but I won’t do that.

“The truth of the matter is that you can’t kill me. My life is in the hand of God,” the cleric stated.
